Donations for Purchase of ebooks (electronic books)
This year, ebooks that students can read on their Chromebooks will be more important than ever. We need to purchase more of the multiple access ebooks (more than one student at a time can check them out) and we have set up a program where parents, grandparents, etc. can donate $30.00 per book in honor or memory of someone if they so choose. These funds will be used to purchase ebooks for DIS and for each donation of $30.00, 3 volunteer hours will be credited. Please contact Ms. Paulette Jane in the office if you wish to participate in this program.

Lancaster County School District is partnering with DHEC again this school year to provide free flu vaccines to our students. Unlike flu clinics in the past, this year’s flu clinic will be drive-up clinics. A consent form must be completed for each child. The consent form may be found on the school website. For a hard copy of the consent form, parents should contact Nurse Thomas.
